Invoicing, now in pay.com.au
Invoicing is now live in pay.com.au’s Get Paid feature. You can create an invoice, send it to your customer, and earn PayRewards Points the moment they pay you, all without leaving pay.com.au.
What’s changing
Until now, Get Paid gave you a PayID and bank details to share on invoices you created elsewhere, in Xero, MYOB, or wherever you already send them from. That still works. But now there’s a faster way: build the invoice inside pay.com.au itself, with your payment details already attached, no copying, no separate software.
How it works
- Create your invoice. Head to Get Paid, then Invoices, in your pay.com.au dashboard. Add your line items, due date, and amount.
- Send it. Your invoice goes straight to your customer by email. They don’t need a pay.com.au account to pay you, they can pay via PayID, bank transfer, or pay.com.au itself.
- Get paid, and earn. Once your customer pays, the payment is automatically matched to your invoice. Your PayRewards Points land once the payment is received.

What it costs, and what you earn
Invoicing runs on the same PayRewards tiers you’ve already chosen for Get Paid:
- Core: 1 PayRewards Point per $1 received, 1% + GST
- Plus: 2 PayRewards Points per $1 received, 1.8% + GST
For example, a $10,000 invoice paid at the Plus rate earns 20,000 PayRewards Points, after a $180 package fee and $18 GST, you’d settle $9,802 net. The fee is shown clearly before you send, no surprises after the fact.
Turn invoices into your next trip
Every PayRewards Point you earn on an invoice works the same as any other, transfer to Qantas, Virgin, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Marriott Bonvoy, and 13 more airline and hotel partners.
