What's changing
Your ad spend is about to lose rewards
It's mostly higher-spend accounts and agency portfolios affected. You'll hear about it inside Google Ads or by email.
Card payments are off the table
Once you're moved, Google only accepts monthly invoicing or direct debit. You can no longer earn points with a credit card.
Your card points will disappear
Move to bank transfer and your card earn goes to zero. For heavy advertisers, that's thousands of dollars in rewards a year.
Your cashflow rhythm resets
Card cycles used to buy you breathing room before a bill was due. An invoice hands that timing to Google instead.
How it works
Four steps. Points restored.
No workaround, no grey area. The invoice gets paid exactly how Google wants it. You just route it through pay.com.au so the spend still earns.
Google moves you to invoicing
Google prompts affected accounts to switch to monthly invoicing or direct debit in your account settings.
Your invoice lands
One consolidated invoice for the month's ad spend, usually on 30-day terms.
Pay it through pay.com.au
Add Google Ads as a payee and fund the payment with bank transfer, American Express, Visa or Mastercard.
We pay Google. You earn twice.
We pay Google by bank transfer. You collect card points, plus PayRewards Points if you opt in.
What's your spend really worth?
Plug in your monthly Google Ads spend and see the rewards you'd otherwise be leaving behind.

† Indicative estimated value of airline points is calculated at 3.5 cents per airline point – this is our estimate of redemption value based on international business class flight redemption. You may not get this value as redemption value rates vary (depending on airline and flights route/class) and any airline point redemption is subject to availability.
Calculations assume the Free plan card processing rate for your card’s scheme (American Express 2.10%, Visa 1.20%, Mastercard 1.00%, all ex GST; linked bank account free), the selected PayRewards package fee, and each card’s published earn rate, points caps and airline conversion rate. The headline airline points figure converts PayRewards to Qantas Points at 2:1 and the card’s points at its airline conversion rate. Fees are shown excluding GST.
Net ROI is the indicative airline value divided by platform fees. Card earn rates and caps change over time – check your card’s current terms.
